Is James Arthur Ray’s Dir of “Ooops” Jumping Ship?

Yes I know that I called Megan Fredrickson the Director of “Ooops” at JRI. And yes, I know that her real title is Director of Operations. But it seems that one of her main accountabilities is handling the “Oooops” moments at JRI. I bet Megan is finding out that it’s a lot easier to cover up 1 dead customer dressed as a homeless person than 3 dead and 19 injured when you have 30 other witnesses… Ya Think?

Anyway, it seems that at sometime within the past few days Megan has updated her LinkedIn Profile and interests to include “Career Opportunities”. (One of the complaints about LinkedIn is that they are too transparent and any yahoo can look at your profile.) ;-) So it seems.

I guess that Megan’s profile could mean that I can contact her about “career opportunities” at JRI, but I don’t think that James Ray is adding staff right now, except for lawyers, private investigators and spin doctors. And, I imagine James is hiring these people directly and not through his Director of Ops.

Megan is also interested in “expertise requests” – now this is very interesting. Expertise about what? Oh yes, if you have an “Oooops” call her and if there aren’t too many witnesses, she can help you cover it up. Or maybe Megan’s expertise is in “How NOT to do things the first 2.5 weeks after your Boss kills 3 people in a sweat tent”.

Is Megan updating her LinkedIn profile a sign that JRI is about to close the doors (a good way to avoid giving refunds to customers) or has Megan read the writing on the Sweat Tent wall and preparing for the inevitable? Hmmmm, it may be that she’s tired of the way her boss and guru are doing business.

  1. Hi Terry,

I believe you and I have spoken on the phone before, I was a co worker of your wife, Amy. I am certain the information that you have been able to provide has come from her. Do your readers know that she was a former employee of James Ray International? Do they know that she participated FULL ON while at work, attended several events, and contributed largely to the financial success of JRI? While there she supported each and every one of us (at least to our faces) and I know it was never any sweat off your back when she was bringing home profit sharing, or being provided breakfast, lunches, dinner, sales training, and top notch care from our superiors. Please don’t credit your ‘intuitiveness’ for your information and insight.

Do your readers know that you created some sort of travel agent booking id# or affilitate account, that in turn she used to book travel for JRI, and received compensation for? I also want to know where YOU developed such a cocky sense of know how on personal development and James Ray– because to my knowledge, you have been everything under the sun: exotic fish expert, baker, catering business person, real estate etc and at one time you were extremely interested in becoming a bodyguard for James Ray when the opportunity presented itself. So please– before you start pointing fingers at someone who has treated your wife with the utmost respect, and single handedly ran a successful business and transformed thousands of live (more than I can say for you and your wife) take a look in the mirror: you have no expertise, you have no education, and most importantly you have no shame. I am sure you WON’T reply to this, just as your cowardly wife never replied to any of my professional, yet concerned e-mails I would write her at work, about her gossiping, constant judgement of others. I challenge you to provide me your background which would qualify your ‘blogs’ as valid and sound.

    • @Olivia Truthe – I hope I have a few more qualifications than “not working for a murderer”. Like maybe common sense. ;-)

I don’t personally feel that James Ray set out to kill people at the Spiritual Warrior Seminar in Sedona. I personally feel that he was in charge of the event and personally responsible for what happened there. Ray entering the tent was his direct promise and assurance to everyone at the event that the tent was safely constructed (a pilot checks the plane before he takes off on a trip – Ray had the same level of responsibility to his customers in Sedona). Hence, in my opinion, Ray’s gross negligence (that’s a technical term that I copied from a lawyer) resulted the deaths of 3 people and injuring 19 others.

It would be interesting to find out how many of the “Good/Positive Results” produced from JRI seminar attendees that Ray personally takes credit and responsibility for causing. If Ray has accepted personal responsibility for even one “Good/Positive Result”, then his responsibility is apparent for the tragic deaths in Sedona.

  2. Wow Alyssa responds like Scientologists do when their “religion” comes under scrutiny. A tad bit unprofessional and makes her look small. Does she not want a job after JRI decides to declare bk? Does she not get that what you say on the Internet stays on the Internet?
She has to see that JR has changed over the years – come on! Thanks for making me laugh though.

  3. Hi there everyone,

I came across this by “accident”. I just have a couple questions for everyone.

Terry did this James Ray guy do something to you to make you so upset?
Was one of the deceased a loved one? You seem very angry.

To Olivia Truthe and 8 Women Dream , Alyssa obivously was an employee so when she puts up her defense to Terry why do you make fun of her? Are the two of you friends of Terry’s?

Terry what is the point of this blog? Also you seem to be stalking James Ray and his employees, do you not have a real job or does someone pay you to do this? I’m just asking cause there are a lot of great things that you could be doing with your time instead of this.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to the 3 of you responding.

    • @Amazing what an amazing accident you found this site. Thanks for your contribution and comments to my humble site. If care to read further through my posts you will find my intentions for these posts about James Arthur Ray, JRI and the Seminar Industry. Enjoy, Terry

  4. Alyssa is pretty damn serious. I don’t doubt she works for James Ray. She says, “…you have no expertise, you have no education, and most importantly you have no shame.” That’s a problem, as she sounds like she’s projecting Ray’s lack of credentials onto you.

Nice twist, too, using James Ray’s tactics of insisting that you’re less than zero because you don’t agree with her. Cherry on top: personal sounding details.

“Amazing” is also challenging you and demanding info that means nothing.

Some of use simply hate deceptive, manipulative people who zealously hurt others, and we want to see it answered for and stopped. That’s it. If above posters don’t understand that, it speaks to their level of ethics and emotional intelligence. Life’s a bitch. We don’t always get what we want or what we need.

I don’t know the writer and have no vested interest in saying anything here. I am, however, interested in the extreme defensiveness of Ray’s people and even more, with the evidence of threats thrown out at him. Citing someone close to you and suggesting she knows personal and potentially compromising things about you is pretty damn coercive.

You know. Coercive like an LGAT seminar, NLP, Persuasion and manipulation techniques….

Readers with no agenda will read what you write and assess it solely based on merits.

If I was a fervent James Ray supporter and wanted to create maximum hassle for you, this particular post would be a lousy platform to do it.

I will, in part, get my own info on this from the news, research and the utterly invaluable rickross.com including http://forum.rickross.com/read.php?12,77450,78357#msg-78357 – in short, like most adults, I’ll draw my own conclusions.

  5. HI RWR,

I am not in any way demanding or challenging Terry. I come across many blogs where I think that people are wasting their time. I don’t understand why you wrote “demanding info that means nothing”. It does mean something, Terry blogs for a reason. Your entitled to your opinion but being rude shouldn’t be one of them.

  6. RWR one more thing, why are you so angry? Terry, this blog just keeps getting better. You can’t have an opinion anymore without someone flipping out. It’s cute.

  7. As far as I’m concerned, opinions are like Ass****s… ! Everyone has one. For people to sit around and speculate without having actually been there is not only a waste of time, but shows lack of integrity.

It’s easy to criticize the quarter back when you are safely digging into a bowl of chips. No matter what the outcome, EVERYONE that attended that pow-wow was there by intention.

Nothing is coincidental. Much like the child being killer by a drunk driver. Albeit horrific, it is still by design. A Course in Miracles spells it out pretty clearly.

    MM

    • Mick, I agree. Opinions are like ass****s and would add none of us thinks our own STINKS (opinions or a**holes). ;-)

Having said that, our lives are but a pimple on the ass of time (to keep with the analogy). In the game of life, when the QB kills 3 people in his sweat tent and continues business as usual ignoring the people he killed, hurt and abandoned, the fans need to speak up and call for change.

The deaths at Ray’s Spiritual Warrior were tragically avoidable. And the families are hurting just as much of the families of today’s Fort Hood victims.

James Ray teaches personal responsibility. It’s Mr Ray’s actions and in-actions what are at issue. In my opinion, Ray did not walk his talk. Had Ray taken any responsibility for what happened, this conversation would not be happening and the victims and their families would start the healing process. Ray’s actions and lack of compassion for the people killed and hurt is the injustice.

Your use of a Drunk Driving analogy is most appropriate. Before the 1980s drunk driving was a non-crime, people were killed and drunk drivers had no consequences (other than their own conscience). The outrage that started the MADD organization changed how society views drunk driving.

The outcome of James Ray’s actions is yet to be known. I personally do not want to see anyone else die at a seminar run by a person that thinks he knows what is best for other human beings.

And Mick, thanks for your contribution and getting people to start thinking.

  8. THIS COMMENT IT TO THE FOLLOWING: TERRY, OLIVIA TRUTH (PROB TERRYS LAME WIFE), 8 WOMEN DREAM ( PROB TERRYS LESBO SISTER)….

I AS WELL CAME ACROSS THIS HORRIBLE BLOG … I HAVE AS MUCH INSIGHT ON JAMES RAY AS TERRY DOES( clearly), WITH THAT BEING SAID, I CAN NOT HAVE THE OPINION TERRY THINKS HE CAN HAVE.. ALYSSA’S COMMENT WAS NOT TO DEFEND JRI, BUT SIMPLY TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR ” WHACK JOB” WIFE , HAD NO PROBLEM SUPPORTING JAMES THROUGH OUT THE TIME SHE WORKED THERE AND COLLECTING A PAYCHECK EVERY WEEK FROM HIM . IT’S REEEAAALLL FUNNY HOW QUICK PEOPLE CAN TURN THEIR BACKS ON ONE ANOTHER WHEN ALL WE REALLY KNOW ABOUT THE SITUATION ARE ACQUISITIONS!!
DID ONE GUY HOLD 50 PEOPLE IN A TENT AND NOT LET THEM OUT???!?!?!?!? REALLY?!?!?!?! IM PRETTY SURE THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE.. SO TAKE MY ADVICE TERRY, GET A REAL JOB AND GET YOUR FAT ASS OFF THE COUCH AND STOP BLOGGING, YOU HAVE ABOUT TWO SUPPORTERS AND THEY ARE CLAERLY RELATED TO YOU!! I HOPE JAMES TAKES YOU AND YOUR WIFE FOR EVERYTHING YOU GOT FOR SLANDERING.. I’LL FEED YA AT THE HOMELESS SHELTER!

    GOOD DAY

  9. No, I am not Terry’s wife but I do want to point out, G-Spot, that it is a little hard to have an intellectual dialogue with someone who doesn’t know the difference between an “accusation” and an “acquisition”. Lighten up…a whole lot of people have provided their opinion about James Arthur Ray over the last three weeks so as James Arthur Ray himself would say, “get over it”.
