James Arthur Ray May be setting up Insanity Defense.

There are precedents that stress can be an insanity defense. Is that the strategy that James Arthur Ray is playing out?

The possible insanity defense  started Thursday night when he left Arizona without cooperating with the Authorities and was proceeded by the death of a participant in his San Diego seminar, Creating Absolute Wealth. It seems that one of the participants in the seminar missed the bus to return from a “homeless” exercise and jumped from a 3 story building to her death in downtown San Diego. Her death was ruled a suicide.

Having so many “Secrets” is quite stressful. In addition to participants dying, James’ company seems to be having financial problems. They laid off 3 employees in August and stopped paying employee bonuses because profits were not high enough.

On Tuesday evening at his Los Angeles event he said that he was there against the advice of his advisers. Like Donald Trump type “A” personalities do not take the advice of others. Their charisma and decisiveness accounts for their success. Their lack of caring and compassion for the people that get in their way is well documented. But someone under such profound levels of stress is not “rationale” and disregards the advice of others.

It has to be dangerous because James Ray has body guards during his seminars. I don’t get it, but the man definitely seems to have lots of worries and concerns which lead me back to my original point, James will do what ever it takes to avoid being responsible for the deaths and injuries that occurred during his program. This includes paying for the best legal advice to protect himself and his interests. This may include stress related insanity.

Of course, David Schirmer may have it right that James Ray is not crazy, insane or insensitive but in actuality that James Arthur Ray was possessed by Satan while conducting a pagan ritual. Interesting to think about.
